Terms of service.
These Terms and Conditions define the obligations and relationship between Danyen Nguyen and the person/s or Company specified in the quotation (the Client). By paying the invoice, the client agrees to all terms and conditions. A New Terms of Service may be written up per project.
Commencement of work.
The work will commence and a timeline will be provided to the Client when confirmation of the payment has been received.
Process of Design - in Relations to Illustration Commissions.
Once the payment has been confirmed and received, the process will begin.
Designs will be drawn up and a chosen number of concepts will be given within the discussed time frame.
Through the Client’s chosen form of communication (face-to-face, over video call, phone call or through e-mail/Direct Messages), the concepts will be presented and the Client is given the opportunity to provide feedback or to further clarify their ideas. A final concept will be decided on.
The final project will be worked on.
A series of low-resolution photos of the project with dated watermarks will be sent to the Client through their chosen form of communications. This will be the last opportunity for the Client to provide feedback for alterations. The Client is allowed two (2) more proofs for alteration.
Upon approval, the Client will be given the final invoice. The final invoice may differ from the quote. The Client will have 14 days to pay the final invoice in full in order to receive Final Handover.
Final Handover - the Client will receive all deliverables in their chosen form - dropbox, USB, postage or delivery.
Process of Design - in Relations to Graphic Design Services.
Once the payment has been confirmed and received, the process will begin.
A Brief will be created in order for both parties to understand the expectations of the project.
Through the Client’s chosen form of communication (face-to-face, over video call, phone call or through e-mail/Direct Messages), the brief will be presented and the Client is given the opportunity to provide feedback or to further clarify their ideas. A Timeline is also discussed and agreed upon.
Three (3) Concepts will be created and presented in the Client’s chosen form of communication. A concept must be selected from the options provided. If the Client is unsatisfied with the options, One (1) alternative Concept will be created, any further concepts will require revision of the invoice.

Termination.
If the Client wishes to cancel after quotation approval and deposit payment, the deposit is forfeited. Danyen may also reserve the rights to terminate any agreements at any given time. All process work leading up to the termination is also forfeited.
Design Project Duration.
Any indication given by Danyen of the Project’s duration is considered to be an estimation. Danyen cannot be held responsible for any project overruns, whether by external traders or by the Client. Danyen will do her best to meet the deadline that was first given during briefing period.
Intellectual Property.
The Client will be provided the final artworks. The Client may lawfully use the finalised deliverables. The Client does not have the rights to process work including the concepts that were not chosen. Danyen reserves the right to exhibit, post and share process works on her Instagram, website and portfolio. Danyen kindly asks the Client to give credit where it is due when sharing the finalised deliverables.
